Special Business:
Senators Chandler and Marzett present t-shirts
Senators vote on cream colored shirts
Old Business:
Senator Chandler: I got a response from Comfort Color shirts. We're doing a sample run and I'll update based on how that goes.
New Business:
Announcements:
PPT Farmer: We could go look at the calendar, but I don't really care to dig through my emails.
Chairman Ko: *audible sigh* tinyurl.com/LETUCampusCalendar
Senator Chandler: Come to our Baja Blast! You can get extra credit and we will have actual Taco Bell for $15. You can also come without paying but won't get the food obviously.
Chairman Smith: There's also a battle bots competition in the student center on Saturday starting at 8am.
Open Forum:
Senator Chandler: What ever happened to the water fountain improvement talks?
Dr. Conn: I don't know when, but when our new CFO came in, she said that she wants to make things better. I don't know for sure, but I know that there is kind of a plan and they're looking at stuff.
Senator Dempsey: When are we getting the shirts?
Senator Chandler: I'll talk to the person at Global Graphics, and we should get them in about two-three weeks.
Dr. Conn: Have y'all seen the new fire pit by the way?
PPT Farmer: Yeah it's great.
Dr. Conn: No it's not - it's broken.
PPT Farmer: How? I thought it was a wood-burning fire pit?
Dr. Conn: Well... we accepted that there would be some hi-jinks, but apparently someone tried to use the fire pit as a forge. The fire pit got turned so hot that is melted some of the metal and also there's damage to the concrete.
Senator Hammers: This school never ceases to amaze me.
Dr. Conn: So the fire pit is closed because we need to do thousands of damage in repairs, and please tell your friends to not do things like this.
Senator Hammers: As an update to the Veterans Lounge, we've all been pretty busy with tests lately so the fridge will probably come in next week. We're also talking about cutting keys to cut down on stealing.
PPT Farmer: Stealing?
Senator Hammers: Markers, candy, those coffee pods, we've probably put over $200 worth of those things in the lounge and I know that we can't go through that much coffee by ourselves.
Dr. Conn: And this is why we can't have nice things
Session recessed at 11:36.
