Relating to the sponsorship YellowJacket Racing by the LeTourneau Student Senate

Be it enacted by the LeTourneau University Student Senate

Short Title

Section A.

This act may be referred to as the "YJR Sponsorship Bill of Fall 2024"

Appropriations

Section B.

Yellowjacket Racing will be allocated two thousand five hundred ($2,500.00) dollars from the Senate General Fund, instead of receiving funds from the Clubs and Organizations appropriation.

Yellowjacket Racing must include a Student Senate logo among their own sponsorships on all karts, shirts, racing suits, and other articles that contain sponsor logos. Student Senate stickers must be aggressively marked on all karts.

Failure to meet the above stipulations may result in these funds allocated being returned to the Senate General Fund, proposed by the Financial Appropriations Committee and confirmed by a majority vote of the Senate.

Effective Date

Section C.

This act shall become effective immediately upon passage.

Vice President Hancock is permitted to ride around in kart in Senate attire for use on the senate Instagram.
