An Amendment/Landmark Revamp to the Senate Constitution

Relating to a solution to the excess redundancies, out-dated fashions, and lowered incentives of the LeTourneau University Student Senate

Be it resolved by two thirds of the entire LeTourneau University Student Senate  

Short Title

Section A.

This significant amendment may be referred to as the "New Constitution Proposal of Spring 2024."

Amendments (Summary)

Section B.

• Numerous changes for clarity and readability, mainly in the form of limited references to bylaws

• Retirement of treasurer (again?) and Sergeant-at-Arms roles

• Club funding details expanded upon

• Elections are largely the same, no primaries

• Committee chairs get a starting semester salary of $550, options for improvements

• PPT gets a starting semester salary of $750, no options for improvements

• Dress code formally business casual
