Tyler hall grill out act of fall 2023

Relating to the funding that will provide Tyler Hall with the purchase of a hall grill.

Be it enacted by the LeTourneau University Student Senate

Short Title

Section A.

This act may be referred to as the "Tyler Hall Grill Out Act of Fall 2023"

Appropriations

Section B.

1. A total of one hundred dollars ($100.00) will be allocated from the Senate General Fund for the purchase of the grill for Tyler Hall.

2. All funds not used in this manner shall revert back to the Senate General Fund

Effective Date

Section C.

This act shall become effective immediately upon passage.

Explanations and Reasoning

Section E.

Tyler Hall strives to be a brother hood built on the values of the bible and brought together in community by events, devotions, pranks, and communion with each other. This Grill will serve as an encouragement and a reason to come together as men of God to enjoy food, but also enjoy each other’s company. This will allow us to have events that build up community and foster a Christian brother hood. Also Students Senate has helped other halls with the purpose of their own grill. Finally, all the R.A.’s are putting in fifteen dollars each, also Caleb the RD is also putting in one hundred dollars of his money.
