Homecoming Fabulous Fashion Bill of Fall 2021

Relating to the purchase of T-Shirts for members of Student Senate who volunteer to serve ice-cream among other things at Homecoming Fall 2021.


Be it enacted by the LeTourneau University Student Senate


Short Title

Section A.

This act may be referred to as the "Homecoming Fabulous Fashion Bill of Fall 2021"


Appropriations

Section B.

  1. A total of one hundred and fifty ($150.00) dollars will be allocated to the purchase of T-shirts for the first 10 Senators to volunteer to assist with homecoming shenanigans, and be pulled from the Senate General Fund.

  2. The design of the aforementioned T-Shirts will be determined by the winner of the T-Shirt contest held several weeks ago.

  3. All funds not used in this manner will be reverted back to the Senate General Fund.

  4. Of the first 10 Senators who will be receiving the aforementioned T-Shirts, those who do not assist with the shenanigans associated with homecoming will have their T-Shirt ceremonially confiscated and given to another able Senator.


Effective Date

Section C.

This act shall become effective upon passage.


Explanations and Reasoning

Section D.

The T-Shirt design contest has just concluded and some T-Shirts have already been sold. While some of the cost of the shirts go toward actually paying for the T-Shirts to be made, all additional funds will go towards student ministries. For the Senators helping out with homecoming, it will look good to all be wearing the same thing since we don’t have polos *cough*. We will also be promoting the sale of the T-Shirts as they look fantastic.
