Thrive360 T-Shirt Fundraiser Funding Bill of Fall 2020

Relating to the purchase of T-Shirts as a fundraiser for Thrive360 as collaborated on by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, Executive Cabinet, and Student Senate.

Be it enacted by the LeTourneau University Student Senate

Short Title

Section A.

This act may be referred to as the "Thrive360 T-Shirt Fundraiser Funding Bill of Fall 2020"

Appropriations and Stipulations

Section B.

  1. A total of $1,000.00 dollars will be allocated to the Executive Cabinet for the purchase of T-shirts from the Senate General Fund.

  2. Students will place T-shirt orders with the Executive Cabinet. The Executive Cabinet will then order the T-Shirts in a single shipment.

  3. Funds not used for the purchase of T-Shirts will be donated to Longview, Texas Thrive360 by the Student Senate.

  4. Students will pay for the cost of the T-Shirts when they receive the T-Shirt. The cost paid by the students shall not exceed the cost of the T-Shirt order.

  5. The proceeds from the T-Shirt sales will be donated to Longview, Texas Thrive360. The Executive Cabinet must provide a copy of the receipt of donation to the Student Senate.

  6. The design of the T-Shirts will be the finalized T-Shirt design submitted to the Executive Cabinet from the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

  7. Failure to meet the above stipulations or abide by the Student Handbook may result in these funds allocated being returned to the Senate General Fund, proposed by the Financial Appropriations Committee and confirmed by a simple majority vote of the Senate.

Effective Date

Section C.

This act shall become effective upon passage.
