The Student Sustenance Act of Fall 2020

Relating to the purchasing of water bottle cases and snacks for the student body

Be it enacted by the LeTourneau University Student Senate

Short Title

Section A.

This act may be referred to as the "Student Sustenance Act of Fall 2020"

Appropriations

Section B.

1. A total of one-hundred and fifty dollars ($150) shall be allocated from the Senate General Fund for compensation of the purchase of snacks and water.

2. All funds not used in this manner shall revert back to the Senate General Fund.

Explanation and Reasoning

Section C.

In order to keep our student body hydrated and satiated cases of water and snacks will be purchased by a member of the Student Life Committee and distributed to the commuter lounge as well as various other locations across campus.

Effective Date

Section D.

This act shall become effective 5 seconds after passage.

Stipulations

Section E.

The water bottles and snacks will be regularly placed into the commuter lounge and on floors by a member of the Student Life Committee as assigned by and in a manner approved by the committee’s chairman.
